IMSL, a leading innovator in intelligence analysis of global threats, has secured its first customers for a new service called IMSL IKARUS (Intelligence Knowledge-base and Analysis Relating to UAS Security).
IKARUS is underpinned by IMSL’s understanding of the fast-moving technological challenges and threats that organisations face in the modern world. We have listened and responded to their growing concern about the rapid increase in the availability and subsequent misuse of commercial and consumer UAS.
IMSL is using its expertise in Open Source collection and analysis, coupled with a deep understanding of the threat spectrum to deliver an innovative UAS threat monitoring and analysis service.
Andy Green, MD of IMSL, said: “Our new clients are now accessing, through a secure web application, a knowledge-base which tracks the occurrence of UAS security threats, analyses and compares these occurrences, and provides guidance and alerting to new, emerging or vectoring threats.
The interactive nature of our knowledge-base also enables direct client engagement with our analytical team. This drives the feedback loop of the intelligence cycle faster and enables a much more responsive product driven by customer needs and expectations.”
The IMSL IKARUS multi-disciplinary team of intelligence and security specialists is led by Pete Norton GC. Pete is a renowned specialist in technical threat analysis and intelligence and he is a leading counter-terrorist consultant.
