A few posts back I asked for some good intelligence based one liner quotes.  This is the clear winner and is worth giving it its own post:

Thanks to the unnamed IMSL analyst who provided it to Panjandrum.  E O Wilson is a Pulitzer prizewinner and bio-technologist. He is the world’s leading authority on the study of ants. Yes, ants.

Now, here’s a thought.  Ants collectively gather information and data about the world (or forest floor) on which they live. Every individual ant (soldier) is a data gatherer and is fitted with comms. They synthesise this intelligence and as a swarm make clear decisions, affecting their entire army.  Do they have an effective  C3I structure  and perhaps even an F3EA process?  Discuss…
